We've got a double ensuite room available from 30th September in a friendly professional house share:

Room 1 - Large double ensuite room Bed, desk, drawers and wardrobe. £1050 pcm inc all bills and weekly cleaner. Available 30th Sep.

The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac at the end of Mill Road. We refurbished it recently and it’s in great condition and a nice small decked garden to be relaxing, on a warm evening.

NOTE: There is currently a future building project to build a bungalow in the land next to the garden that may be disruptive during the day, if you intend to work from home.

Included in your rent are all bills, council tax, WiFi, TV license, weekly cleaning of the common rooms and a monthly gardening service. So, you’ve got no costs other than your rent.

Downstairs there’s a bright, large and modern open-plan kitchen/living room – with wooden flooring – that opens out onto the patio.

The kitchen has two big fridge/freezers, a dishwasher and washing machine. There are two shared bathrooms and a downstairs toilet, whilst one of the rooms has an ensuite - so no long queues in the morning!

Car parking is limited and we ask that no-one parks outside the house. There is car parking a short walk away and we've loads of secure bike parking at the house, so it's great for cyclists.

You’d be sharing with a nice bunch. We preferably let to professionals, mostly in their twenties, who are good and considerate housemates. It is not a bedsit arrangement – there’s no locks on doors or sinks in rooms. This is a nice, big, clean and friendly shared house where everyone gets on well.

Mill Road itself has loads going on. There’s pubs, cocktail bars, restaurants, takeaways, cafes and lots of independent shops. There’s also a big Sainsbury’s just up the road from the house.

Please only send us a message if you’re a professional and are ready to move on or around the above dates for a minimum six months (preferably a year). The room is only available to singles. We can’t let to a couple as maximum occupancy for the house is six. Please tell us as much as you can in your profile. Demand for this room will be high, so we’re unlikely to respond if this is left blank.

A bit about us:

We are a married couple - Ed and Vicky - who live in Cambridge. We don’t use a letting agent, so you just give us a call if there are any problems and one of us will be able to help. We take great care and pride in our rental houses and also run a building company, so deal with any maintenance issues quickly and efficiently.
