Large double part furnished room in lovely house

Large double room available from September 14th. £550 per month. Bills are approx 100 per month (gas, electric, broadband, tv licence, water, council tax)

The room comes furnished with wardrobe, desk/dressing table, shelves, blanket chest and bedside table. There is the option to purchase the double bed from the current housemate.

The house is located on one of the roads just off Mill road, a 15 minute walk to the train station, 20-30 minute walk to town. 5-10 mins to the Beehive Centre, and a hop, skip and a jump to the awesome Empress Pub.

House is a 3 bedroom terrace, with a large open plan living and dining room, new fitted kitchen and downstairs bathroom with powerful shower and bath. There is great garden and patio outside with BBQ and table and chairs and a shed which we keep our bikes in. The garden has a gate onto a passageway behind the house so you can cycle straight out of the shed and off to work!

You would be sharing with two museum workers, one a conservator and the other a researcher. We both enjoy watching films, going to the pub, boardgames, cycling, gigs and theatre. We tend to keep it quite quiet in the house during the week, but often have people over for BBQs or dinner at the weekend.

We are both quite independent but also socialise together with film nights with wine (or Ali's random world booze collection), and the regular tuesday pub quiz at the local pub.

We would be looking for either someone in full time work or a PhD student/Post doc, you would be expected to contribute to the council tax.

The landlady requires a deposit, two references (one from work, the other from a previous landlord), and a credit check.
