Large, bright attic room off Mill Road

I have a lovely large and bright attic room to let in a Victorian terraced house off Mill Road in Romsey. We are 10 minutes walk from the station, 20 from the city centre and within a stone's throw of the amenities of bustlling Mill Road; Addenbrookes is also very accessible. Free parking on the street.

I am a single working mother of a nine-year-old boy. As an experiment to see if we can manage a puppy (my son’s dream) in the spring, we are borrowing my parents’ well-behaved black Labrador dog until Christmas. We also have two cats, so you’ll need to an animal lover! I am also up for negotiating a bit less rent if you have any availability to walk the dog on occasion. Child and cats are used to a no-access rule to the top room, which is quiet and private. The dog is not allowed upstairs at all.

The room is large and is designed to have a living area, so you can be pretty self-contained beyond sharing the bathroom and kitchen. The house has the usual stuff, including a garden, fast wifi and a well-equipped kitchen. I can provide bed linen and towels if necessary.

Monday to Friday (or variations thereof) very welcome and the rent would be negotiable. I don’t exclude the possibility of a couple(though I have only had single people for years now) - rent would be a bit more.

The rent is inclusive of all bills.

Minimum stay: two months. A month’s rent in advance. The room is vacant now.
