We are looking for a clean, responsible, sociable person to share a tidy and friendly house.
The room is a good sized room which is being offered UNFURNISHED (note that the furniture in the photographs will be removed). However we may have some basic pieces of furniture in storage if required.
Communal areas are fully furnished. We also have a spare room which is used for drying laundry and can be used for overnight guests too.
There is a shared living room with a comfy sofa and a TV, which adjoins an open-plan dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with two fridges and a freezer, a washing machine, gas stoves and electric oven, and small appliances (kettle, toaster, etc.). We are fortunate to have a newly refurbished bathroom (Feb 2014) which is spacious, light, and clean. There is also a downstairs toilet.
On-street parking is available (no resident permits required).
We have a very large rear garden with apple and plum trees, and a large shed to store bikes.
The rent includes all bills (broadband, phone, TV licence, gas, electricity, and council tax).
The house is located conveniently off Newmarket Road, just a 5 minute walk from bus stops where Bus route 'Citi3' connects to the city centre in 10 minutes and the train station in 15 minutes. We are also close to the riverside path which is ideal for a walk into the city centre or for running enthusiasts.
Although the current housemates go about their own lives (we are all young professionals) we sometimes cook and eat together, or do things together such as go to see a film. We respect each other and the house and as such we would expect any new housemates to help out with the cleaning and garden upkeep.
