I am a friendly, working, proffesional woman offering a room in a home from home available for SHORT TERM LET. I have welcomed many guests from around the world over the last 15 years who have come to study, research or lecture as well as guests working away from home temporarily. I only take tenants who are visting Cambridge, not those looking for a permanent home. I only take single tenants, not couples. Female prefered, but will accept male tenants who are working away from home on a project and go home to family at weekends.

The house is small, and friendly. The kitchen and bathroom are shared. The house generally has good wifi (virgin media, which does drop out occasionally). Dishes, pots and pans, washing machine, fridge and freezer are all shared use. Bedding and towels are provided for use, which you launder during your stay.

Room has a 4 foot bed (bigger than a single, smaller than a double), bedside table with lamp and wardrobe with drawers.

The house is linked to CRC, the city centre, the train station and Addenbrooks via the C1 bus route. It is aprox 30-40 minutes to walk into town or 15 to cycle.

The house vibe is respectful and peaceful, with noise kept to a low level so everyone can relax. For the comfort and safety of everyone in the house, overnight guests are not permitted (except visiting partners by prior agreement) and kitchen use is limited after 10 p. m.

Guests should be friendly and independent.
This is an equalities friendly household, and welcoming to LGBTQ+ but unfortunately there is no disabled access for wheelchair users.
