Spacious room in Kings Hedges

Spacious room with leafy view available to end of June 2026.

The flat is in a residential area with two parks nearby. It's a 10-minute cycle to Cambridge North Station and the Science Park, and located on the Citi 1 bus route which goes to town, the main train station and Addenbrookes. It's also very close to the guided bus-way and the A14.

I love having people round for meals, and you would be welcome to invite friends over on the weekends too, but I work from home until about 7pm Monday to Friday and recharge by spending time in the quiet at home so I'm looking for someone who's also content with mostly keeping a quiet environment, for example, using headphones if listening to music, and *this wouldn't be suitable lodgings for someone who also needed to work from home*. Note that I'm looking for a female lodger.

I'd also consider a part-time, eg Monday to Friday, lodger (with a corresponding cost adjustment), leaving some things in the room between stays.

The price is £400 per month including high speed broadband, council tax and water. Gas and electricity would be extra if what was used was significantly beyond my norm.

The room is furnished and I can probably adjust what's in there a bit according to what's needed. The bathroom and kitchen are shared and shared use of the dining/living room would be available on Saturdays and Sundays.
