Spare room in a lovely part of Cambridge :)

Simon (23) and myself (26) are very sad to be seeing our current housemate, Eleanor, leave as she moves on to complete her PhD! However, this is an exciting opportunity for a new housemate.

About the house:

The house is ideally located- an 8ish minute bike ride from the centre of town and if riding a bike isn’t for you, there’s a bus stop right at the end of our road. I often walk to town and it takes me about 25 mins. It’s a very safe and quiet location, but not far from everything you might be interested in.

The house is unusually spacious for a Cambridge property, and it has a gorgeous living room, dining room, huge kitchen, a garden, a bathroom, and one other separate toilet. The room is a small double as pictured. Although there is no wardrobe in the room, there is one in the hallway just for you to use, and another cupboard downstairs for coats.

The house has some patches of paint chipped in places, but apart from that there’s no issues with the house at all.

The rent is £560 per month- and with the bills in Winter it is £700 pm. The cost of bills decrease in the warmer months, but even as £700 I’ve found this pretty great for Cambridge. If you smoke, you can smoke in the garden no problem.

About us:

I am working in Cambridge in the sphere of Educational Access. I’m 26 and I love cooking, reading, trying new things, and making friends. I work 8-4 usually, but I do stuff after work like see friends/ go dancing! I understand the need for alone time, but equally would love to be friends with house mates :)

Simon is 23 and he is an Analyst for Cambridge Water. In keeping with his job, he loves Scuba-diving. Simon is very friendly and one of the nicest guys I’ve met- very easy to live with!

We look forward to meeting you! Don’t hesitate to ask any questions. I can show you around the house during the week after 4.30pm and whatever time at the weekend. Hopefully I’ve said everything that needs to be said.
