Description
Hello!,
I am looking for someone compatible, who would be willing to carry out light household tasks on an ad hoc basis, and amounting to no more than three or four hours per week, (For instance: cleaning; washing and ironing, some simple cooking; and very occasionally some basic gardening) and who would generally be available to assist, as I have mobility issues due to Parkinson’s. (Carers visit each morning).
The ideal person would be a PhD or English language student, working or studying much of the time at home.
As recompense, I have reduced the rent that I am requesting to a figure that reflects such an arrangement.
I have a reasonable sized quiet room to offer, which overlooks the secluded back garden of my late Victorian house. It comes with almost exclusive use of an adjoining bathroom and shared use of a kitchen, communal areas and garden.
All services and Wi-Fi are included, but parking permits and Council tax, where payable, are not.
The house is located very close to the river and within easy walking
distance of the city centre. There are two Co-ops and a surprisingly good selection of places to eat and drink in the locality.
Ideally, we would start the arrangement on the 1st of July, but a different start date could be agreed if Necessary
Please only apply if you think you meet my criteria and would have the spare time available, and please do not be offended if I judge otherwise and do not pursue any interest you might express in renting the room.
