** 1 room available, GUYS are strongly preferred

Hey Folks,
we are looking for ONE long term, male housemates (1-3 years) for our sleek modern-vintage house share in Petersfield. ONLY LATE 20s or EARLY 30s, Students only, GUYS strongly preferred by current tenants
The location is fantastic: 5 min to AR uni, 5 min to Mill Road, 3 min to the Beehive, 10 min to the train station, 15 min to the Grafton Center, 5 min to the Hot Numbers Cafe (should I go on?)
But a word of warning: if you are into bog-standard, non-descript, short-term rentals this place is not for you :)
The house was just renovated is fully kitted out with wood flooring, a new kitchen and bathroom and sleek modern-vintage furnishings throughout.
The kitchen features a cool brick wall, Skandi-type wood cabinets, hexagon flooring, copper fixtures and a cozy dining area.
The living room has an original Parker Knoll sofa suite (what else, right?).
The bathroom combines new-retro gold fixtures with art-deco tiling and botanic decorations (bring it on!).
Jokes aside, there is also a massive garden with a 2 tier terrace to lounge on and a natural garden behind with lots of trees, flowers and a pond with active frog inhabitants.
The garden-facing room comes in at £770 per month and is furnished with a sleek bamboo work station, a double bed, a double wardrobe, a drawer and a book case. It's on the first floor and has probably the best garden view in the street - 30m of unspoilt nature with lush trees, beautiful bushes and flowers (TAKEN)
The street double is a bit larger and has a wood double bed, a built-in wardrobe, 2 vintage drawers, a Skandi-style desk + chair and original book shelves. The room is also on the 1st floor with a nice view across a quiet residential street and great day-light. (AVAILABLE)
The third double (£720) is the same size but on the ground floor. This room features 2-built-in cabinets with original book shelves, a desk and retro vintage dresser, a wardrobe and a double bed.
It also has a huge desk that can be height adjusted (electronically) and an ergonomic office chair. These are new additions to the room, so sadly we don't have pictures of that. (TAKEN)
The rent is inclusive of bills and as students there's no council tax.
The ideal housemates would be postgrad students or postdocs/young professionals in their early thirties. We are looking for someone who is up for the occasional joint dinner, BBQ and coffees on the terrace, but who also respects other people's privacy and time to themselves when work calls. We are not a party house and frequent dinner hosts. Other than that, it would be great if you had extensive house share experience, know how to keep common spaces tidy and are not opposed to a cleaning rota. It's also important that you are not just looking for a place to crash but a place to call home.
You would be sharing with an English and Canadian PhD students.
Any questions about the rooms or keen to come for a viewing just get in touch!
We are getting lots of emails, so it would be great if you could tell us a bit about yourself, what brings you to Cambridge and what you are looking for in a house share.
Cheers,
Anna
