4 Single Rooms Available in Central Cambridge

Hi everyone! I'm looking for 4 friendly, sociable and tidy young professionals and students interested in joining a 5-room houseshare located in central Cambridge.

About the house:
The house is very centrally located, <1 min from the Grafton Centre, <5min walk to Little Waitrose and Tesco, ~5min to Parkers Piece and ~15min walk to the Market Square. In other words, it's conveniently close to most places in Cambridge, be it the Colleges, pubs, restaurants, Midsummer Common and there's even a sports bar nearby if you like to play some pool (I do! :D ).

The house consists of 5 rooms - the largest one on the ground floor and 4 on the top floor, 2 shared bathrooms - one on each floor, a kitchen, a living room and a small garden where you can store your bike. The rooms are all furnished and include a bed, small table and a wardrobe. While they all are currently furnished with single bed mattresses, a double bed mattress should fit in every room as some have done so in the past.

While it's been great living in this place so far, it will be even better since the house will undergo a renovation in July, with a new kitchen - great for people who love cooking - as well as refreshed bathrooms and bedrooms!

On top of the rent specified for each room there are the bills and council tax. The bills average around 40-50GBP per month depending on the season, including everything like water, broadband etc, except council tax. The council tax is in tax band D and is around 230 total paid over 10 months, split among us living here.

All the rooms are available from the 1st of August.

About you:
I'm looking for young professionals and students, who are tidy, respectful and sociable, and want to make this their home for next year. I aim to make the house a relaxed place where people can both rest after a long day as well as organise activities like watching a movie, as long as we all respect each other's space.

We'll all be sharing the household responsibilities, like cleaning, so it's definitely a plus if you've been living in a houseshare before.

I'm also looking for people who want to stay here for a longer period, at least about a year, and thus short-term lets are unfortunately not possible.

Note: As part of the process standard checks will be done, like full-time employment (if applicable), income, immigration (if applicable) and right-to-rent.

About me:
I'm a 25 year old software engineer from Stockholm, Sweden, who moved here to Cambridge at the beginning of 2024 for work. During my free time I do like to spend a lot of my time on my main hobby, which is clearly programming :). But when not doing that I also like to be outdoors a lot, either by going for a run or just exploring the Cambridge area, as well as watching the latest series/movies, trying out various restaurants, play pool/squash/poker every once in a while or just hanging out with friends at the pub.

Also put in the message what room you would be interested in, even if you're interested in all of them. The pictures do only show one of the rooms, but they're all very similar except for the size.
