Bright Double Room in 3-Bed House off Mill Road

We are looking for a third person (ideally a female PhD student) to join our house in central Cambridge.

A bright double room is available in our lovely 3-bedroom house on Ross Street, just off the lively Mill Road. The area is full of independent cafés, brunch spots, restaurants, and shops, and is well-connected—just a 7-minute cycle (or 25-minute walk) to the city centre and 4 minutes by bike (or 15-minute walk) to the train station, for those who love to go to London, as we do!

The house has plenty of character and has now been furnished with beautiful vintage pieces brought up from London! It has a newly updated kitchen, bathroom, and a shed and side entrance for storing bikes securely. The room is fully furnished with a double bed, nightstand, desk, chair, wardrobe, book shelves, and sofa bed. It has a separate entrance to the house, so it is ideal for housemates who value privacy. We have a garden, bike shed, and free parking available on the street. We also have a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer unit in our kitchen, which is very handy!

We are two female University of Cambridge PhD students in the Biological Sciences (one from London, one from Washington DC). We’re friendly, tidy, and often socialise at our colleges, so we’re ideally looking for another female postgraduate student at the University of Cambridge who enjoys a peaceful and respectful home environment.

🛏 Rent: £915 pcm (bills included)
📅 Move-in: Ideally between start and middle of September
📄 Contract: Minimum 9 months, no maximum!
🎓 Preference: Cambridge postgraduate student
