Large room in beautiful house in the city centre

We're a group of 3 professional/postgrad women in our late 20s looking for a fourth housemate. The room available is the larger top floor bedroom, £1045 pcm plus approx £158 for bills (including council tax). It has a double glazed window looking out on Christ's Pieces, with built in cupboards along one wall (note: the boiler is in one of these cupboards) and a feature fireplace with shelving around it. The house is a wonderful Grade II listed Georgian townhouse right in the centre of town (you can't get more central than this)! There is a small courtyard garden, and a garage for parking/storage. The house itself is unfurnished, but I'll be bringing furniture from my current house and the landlord has kindly offered us a choice of some more pieces so we should have enough to get started.

A bit about us: my name's Alma and I'm a 29yo postdoc at the university. I'm a microbiologist but working mainly in engineering and physics these days! I'm originally from Australia but have been in Cambridge for the past 2 years. I love sewing, knitting, weaving and basically all crafts.

The other two housemates are Emily and Cecilia. Emily is 26 and moving from the US to start an MPhil in climatology, and comes with a very cute 17yo cat named Katie! Cecilia is 28 and moving here from London to start a new job in publishing at Fauna and Flora. We'd love to have a friendly and sociable household that's more a home than just a house to live in. We have a slight preference for professionals, but as long as you're tidy, willing to pay council tax and up for being friends we'd love to hear from you!
