My name is Sam. I currently rent 1 Malvern Road, CB1 9LD with my friend, but he is about to buy his own place. I am therefore looking for someone who would like the master bedroom.
The master bedroom dimensions are 4.47 x 2.64 (14'7" x 8'7"). I've added full dimensions of the house at the bottom of the ad.
I've been living here for two years. I like the property / neighbourhood, and I would prefer to stay for another couple of years while saving up my own deposit.
I work for a tech company in London. I travel into London 1-2 days a week. The rest of the time I work from home or at a cafe in town.
The room is available from 13 June 2026. The council tax band is C. We'd split the bills 50/50.
The house is a homely, airy property with a front lawn and reasonably sized, south-facing garden. There is plenty of space for bicycles, drying clothes and for people to have a BBQ. There also has never been a problem parking out front.
The neighbours are friendly; there has not been any trouble during the time that I've been here. Cherry Hinton Hall is also 2 mins walk away, which is a beautiful local park.
The photos uploaded show the property completely unfurnished. They were taken by the letting agent when I first moved in and to be honest, they are a bad reflection of the property. The house is genuinely much bigger and nicer in person.
I think good next steps would be for us to have a chat and, if that goes well, for us to arrange a viewing.
