Five miniuts on a bicycle to the market square/centre. The river, Grantchester meadows, and many playing fields, tennis club very close. The train station and Addenbrooks site are a bit further but can be done on cycle paths.
It might be possible to stay weekends occasionally. The rent could be less dependent on how many nights needed.
