There is a large garden (green-thumbed housemates are more than welcome!) and garage, though parking is also plentiful on the road outside.
The house is located on a quiet square in Cherry Hinton, a fifteen minute drive or twenty minute cycle-ride away from town, with several bus stops a few minutes’ walk away and regular buses into the centre. The train station is a five-to-ten minute drive or ten minute cycle-ride away. A petrol station with shop is a short walk away or there’s a ten minute walk or quick cycle/drive to a Budgens. Cherry Hinton Park is just around the corner.
Rent is £380 per calendar month plus £130 for utilities (gas, electric, water), council tax, and Virgin Media Broadband and TV. The deposit is £380 and the minimum term is six months.
We are looking for a sociable housemate; a non-smoker who will be actively involved in creating and maintaining a happy home, and who gets along with dogs and cats. Our golden retriever Lyra is a gentle, soppy creature and our kitten Bobbie is mischievous but cute. You wouldn’t be expected to help look after them or let them in your bedroom but they do roam the rest of the house so any potential housemate must be comfortable with having them around.
