Double Room in Quiet and Friendly House

Double room in a quiet house in Chesterton, with two other housemates, a research scientist and a vet. We are looking for a friendly professional or graduate student to replace our current housemate who is leaving after five years.

The room is on the first floor at the front of the house. It is furnished with a bed, mattress, bedside table, chest of drawers and wardrobe. The first floor also has one other bedroom and a shared bathroom, and there is a third bathroom and its ensuite on the top floor.

The ground floor has a well appointed kitchen with gas hobs, oven, washing machine and fridge/freezer. There is plenty of room for 3 people, each of us having 2/3 cupboards for food, as well as space in the fridge/freezer and additional space for pans and cutlery. There is also a spacious living room, with a sofa and dining table, and a downstairs toilet. Outside there’s a small garden and a shed for keeping bikes.

The landlords live a couple of doors down and are very friendly and quick to fix any problems, but don’t interfere with the house unless there’s an issue. Bills are not included in the rent and currently the share is about £150 per month (including Council Tax Band D). The deposit is subject to confirmation but will be around the value given.
