A lovely and spacious double bedroom is available in shared house in Chesterton. The room is available from the 8th of February, and I’m flexible with the move-in date. The rent is 550£ per month, and bills are between 120-150 per month depending on the weather. I am leaving the house as I now have a new job in Manchester.

Amazing Location - The property is very convenient for someone working in the Science Park, as it is on a walkable distance. Excellent bus connections to head to the city centre (12min bus ride) less than 5 minutes from the house. Cambridge North station is a 10 minute walk, for those wanting to commute via train. Excellent road links to the A14/M11 road network.

Spacious room - It has a king size bed and a 6ft desk currently in it, and there is still loads of space within the room, so it pretty spacious. An entire wall in the room has a walk-in wardrobe, so ample storage space available. There is also a full-length mirror in the room. The room gets lots of natural light, as another entire wall comprises of 2 huge windows, which overlook the garden.

Great House - The house is a semi detached property, with a big living room. There are 2 bathrooms(both have toilets+shower combined) shared between 4 people. There is also a 6 seater dining table and a big, functional kitchen with 2 fridge-freezers, hob, oven, microwave and a dishwasher. There is a separate washing room which has the washer-dryer. There is a storage room on the ground floor and a small studio for working from home upstairs. The property has a driveway which the new tenant can use, and also has a massive garden (maintained by landlord) which we’ve used to host barbecues in the summer.

The new tenant should be atleast 18 years of age, a working professional and be able to provide employer/landlord references.

Please note: I currently own the furniture in the room as it was offered unfurnished when I moved in. It is of excellent quality and I am willing to sell it for a discounted rate to the new tenant. The rest of the house comes completely furnished. The new tenant will also have to pay the £50 tenancy changeover fee to the letting agent, separate from the rent.
