Room in a lovely two bed house in Chesteron

I have a room available in my two bed house in Chesterton, available from 28th March until at least September 2025, with the option to extend the tenancy for the following year. Monthly rent is £750 excluding bills, with bills (electricity, gas, water, council tax and broadband) totalling an average of £130 a month. This will decrease as we enter the summer due to lower heating costs.

I am looking for a social female housemate to join myself, a female professional in my mid 20s. I enjoy playing board games, going for walks in the countryside and am a keen musician, and am looking for someone with a similar, laid-back temperament.

The house is lovely and spacious, with an open plan downstairs, a recently refitted kitchen with a modern oven and dishwasher, and a recently fitted boiler and radiators. There are two large double bedrooms upstairs (one of which is mine) and a guest room. The room is part furnished with a bed, fitted wardrobe and a chest of drawers, but if you have furniture I can arrange for it to be taken out of the room. The south facing garden is a lovely place to sit in warm summer evenings, and the area of Cambridge is quiet and safe. It is around a 7 minute cycle into the centre of Cambridge, which is very easy and quick down the new cycle lanes on Milton Road, and there is also a row of shops directly behind the house which is very convenient. Cambridge North train station is a ten minute cycle.
