Double room in quiet ground floor 2 bed Chesterton

I’m looking for a new flatmate for a double room in a ground floor flat in Chesterton. Happy to consider both long and short lets, although longer lets preferred. Room is available 18th October.

Room is furnished with double bed, desk and chair, chest of drawers and bookshelf, as well as large built in wardrobe and another built in cupboard. Duvet and pillows also provided if needed.

The flat has an open plan dining room/living room kitchen, equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and kettle. There is one shared bathroom with a shower over a bath. Living room has two sofas and a large dining table, plus large TV.

The building has a large communal garden with picnic tables, and friendly neighbours, including a nice existing community here. The flat has wheelchair access, although the bathroom is not fully adapted.

There is parking onsite (I currently do not drive so the space would be free for you). We also have a garage, which is currently used for storage. There is a an additional bike shed at the property as well.

Rent is £750 per month, plus roughly £60 in bills. I would prefer to share with a student so we do not have to pay council tax (band B) in addition to this.

I’m a 29y. o. PhD in Italian/Film Studies. I like film, crafts, music, board games and I'm looking for someone friendly to share with, and hopefully occasionally hang out in the evenings.
