Description
Hi,
Looking for a spacious, peaceful home? I’m looking for a new housemate to join me in Chesterton. My current housemate is moving on after two great years, and I’m looking for someone to take over their refurbished room.
* Your Room: Very spacious with a king-size bed, plenty of storage, and a proper desk for home working.
* The House: A modern, fully equipped kitchen and a large living space. We have one full bathroom plus an extra separate toilet.
* The Perks: High-speed fiber, all bills included, and I can even lend you a bicycle—the best way to get around the city.
* The Guest Room: I keep a spare room as an office/guest room. Visitors are welcome, given notice.
Ideally tucked between the Science/Business Parks and the City Centre. You get quiet nights with quick access to everything:
* Transport: Bus Line 2 is right down the road for easy access to the High Street shops and takeaways.
* Travel: Just a 20-minute walk to the station—perfect for quick trips to London or Stansted.
* Day-to-day: High street is nearby offering a couple of stores and takeaways. Our local pub is the Haymakers, offering great local ales.
If i'm not at work, you will probably find me cooking, gardening, travelling or roaming Cambridge on my bicycle. I am a rather social person and like to have people over but I also do appreciate calm and private time.
I travel quite a bit for work and leisure, so I’m looking for a reliable and trustworthy housemate who enjoys their own space, kind and easy going. So far, we did not have strict rules and dealt with things as they go. Hope that matches your energy. So far, I have been renting on a rolling month basis as I find it offers the both of us more freedom but I am happy to consider other options.
Hopefully, you can join me when spring is settled and the garden blooming.
Notes: I do not own a pet but, the neighboor's cat shows up regularly. She's adorable but it might not be suitable for people with allergy.
I am flexible with furniture. On the picture appears only what the current lodger wanted but technically there is also a wardrobe. Also, there's plenty of storage elsewhere in the house (attic, under stairs, ...)
