The first room is at the front of the house and occupies its own unique and very private position. It’s a lovely standard double, offering high beamed ceilings, well defined sleeping and study areas and plenty of storage space for one person.
The second is a much larger room and might suit a couple ( with a small rent increase) This room offers a king sized bed with a luxury ‘Tempur’ latex mattress. It comprises the west wing of the house, with windows offering beautiful sunny aspects on 3 sides. The room is accessed along a corridor and away from the other upstairs areas. There is lots of storage space, including 2 double wardrobes, 2 sets of drawers and a large dressing table. The study area is well appointed offering a large desk, cupboards, book cases and shelving. There is potential to add a TV to this room if wanted.
Re shared spaces, there is a well appointed luxury kitchen with breakfast area overlooking the terrace, plus separate dining area. We love to cook. This area is the ‘hub’ of the house, the place where everyone can pass the time with one another and have a friendly catch up, or not if you decide to opt for some privacy and enjoy your meal eating in the guest sitting room watching TV, enjoying some relaxing log burner time.
Shared bathroom with our only other guest, who works long hours and is out most of the time.
Relaxing private and sunny garden area and terrace.
There is ample parking.
It’s a friendly family vibe here, this is a spacious home where everyone can spread out, so you can have as much privacy or company as you like. Live in landlords are friendly but have their own sitting room, office areas, and parts of the house.

The house is in a pretty village location just off the A605 and is 5 mins from all the amenities of Oundle where there is a Waitrose, Co Op, late night miniTescos, wine bars, pubs, restaurants and cafes. Oundle also hosts a lot of cultural events and festivals, offers interesting independent high street shopping has 2 dental practices, and large GP surgery.
