Description

Hello!

I'm Nadine, a 30 year old who works hybrid in book publishing based in Cambridge. This house is available until late November when my tenancy finishes but I would love to renew it with my new housemate. I can be relatively flexible with move in dates, please message me.

I'm recently single so am offering a furnished house share equipped with white goods and all things needed for a house - hoover, appliances, garden equipment; although there would be room for someone else to bring their own kitchen things, bookcases and prints for the living room. I will also make room on my bookcases should you need it. As a previous long time house sharer, I am very accommodating to make sure we would have a fair amount of space in the house.

BEDROOM
The second bedroom is 2.3meters x 3.8itt's i not furnished, so you would need to bring your own bed, desk ect. There is a built in wardrobe. Although if needed I may have a few bits to supply for the room, including an bedside table and chest of drawers.

MY CATS
I have two adorable cats, who are senior boys that are trained to go outside, and well disciplined. They do sleep much of the day as they are older. I often say that if someone isn't a cat person they should meet my cats, Mika is convinced he is a Golden retriever- so melts everyone's hearts. While Hendrix can be very nervous and hide, but once he trusts you he is the most loyal pet in the world. As I've shared before with them, I take responsibility to hoover the house exclusively with my Hetty and cordless hoover 😆

The house is a good size for two with a utility cupboard, shed, street parking, a bathroom and downstairs toilet. The area is really safe and quiet, where my neighbour even insists on mowing the front lawn for me. When I have had friends over they haven't minded some noise.

ABOUT ME
I come from a creative background at university so love art, film and museums. I love taking long walks and am trying to get back into running, especially in the woods near this house. I love having an excuse to bake for people or someone to cook a curry or lasange with. I would like a housemate where we could chat and hang out together over a glass of wine or film sometimes, but also do value some down time alone sometimes. As I'm from London I occasionally I go back home for a weekend quite often.

I'm quite a clean person but on a realistic level, so long as we find a common ground that is fair. I really value both people feeling comfortable at home.

THE AREA
I'm really pleased with the area: it's a 15 min walk to the centre of town where there is an amazing market in the weekend and mini shopping town, with great charity shops. We're also less than ten mins walk from Sainsbury's and Aldi, with a gorgeous feild with horses to brighten your commute. My gym is less then a 10 min walk and the short walk to the station leads you to the gorgeous river banks.

Bills equate to roughly £200 per month, less in summer.

Look forward to chatting!
