Annexe (large double room with ensuite)

A tastefully presented fully furnished annexe with an ensuite is available. Situated in the quaint and peaceful village of Great Wilbraham, 7 miles outside of the city of Cambridge itself.

Perfect for commuting to Cambridge city centre (a 20 minute drive) and the surrounding area. Ideal for a professional, or post-graduate.

***We would like a female lodger who doesn’t work from home (or who WFH a maximum of 1 day per working week). We also have a 1 year old grey tabby cat called Luna - so liking cats is essential!

The annex is set within a large and well-maintained garden of a thatched cottage (the main house). The main house is occupied by two women (myself and my daughter, though she will be at university from September) and is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere/environment.

Amenities:

The large bedroom has ample room for a double bed/wardrobe/chest of drawers/desk and more (all provided). The ensuite contains a shower, toilet and sink.

You will have access to and share the main house's kitchen, where a sink, fridge/freezer, hob, microwave, oven/grill, a dishwasher and other storage will be available to you. A washing machine in the utility room can be used also, as well as an iron/ironing board and drying rack.

We are happy for you to use our garden as you like and we will provide you with your own garden furniture (a table and 2 chairs - perhaps to eat alfresco style?).

There is street parking right outside the main house. We also have a small gravel driveway that can be used by you, but only when we are away, due to its size. Having your own car is essential, as public transport to the village is very limited!

All bills included in the price of rent (£800). (Wifi/broadband, TV licence, water, electricity, heating, and council tax).

Deposit £300.

Council tax band: E (South Cambridgeshire District Council).
