Double room to rent in sociable house in Brampton

We have a room to rent in a friendly house in Brampton, close to Huntingdon. The room is £475 a month - All bills included. ***Please be aware that the room likely won’t be available until the end of October at the earliest**

We have a very energetic spaniel, so a dog lover is a must - you can't ignore her! Brampton is a lovely place to live - There are good local pubs, takeaways, a shop etc and it's not too far to go for a good night out. There are also lots of places for walking. Parking is on the road, outside the house.

We are looking for a working, clean, tidy, genuine and considerate lodger, who is willing to help out with housework, chip in for loo roll etc. The house and everything in it is shared, so there is a shared responsibility for looking after the place. We are looking for someone we can get on with well and feel relaxed around, and someone who feels the same with us.

We both work hard, but do enjoy a night in the pub and sometimes a party/BBQ at home. Often unplanned, but infrequent these days, so no one who has a problem with this, or us having a few drinks and having fun sometimes.

We're not keen on kids - so no one with children please. Pets wise, we are open to the idea, depending on what it is - but no cats (would be carnage with my dog, and we live on a main road), and would likely not consider another dog, unless small (~cocker sized or smaller) well behaved, not a pest to my dog (she’s friendly and playful, but very submissive and a bit of a wimp - this is her space and Shes technically an old lady, so I’m reluctant to change that), and not too hairy!
