Comfortable House In A Country Setting

We have a room available for single occupancy only and we are looking for a non-smoking male, preferably over 35 and employed in full time work. I am sorry that we cannot allow pets.

The room is part of a 3 bedroomed house share. Both of the other occupants have been here for a long time

The room is south facing and sunny, has a new small double bed with storage drawers underneath, a chest of drawers. an office desk and chair, a new carpet and fixed, hanging cupboards, The room has been recently redecorated and has new curtains and is available from February 21st

The shower/bathroom is shared. Also upstairs, there is a landing and airing cupboard along with the other 2 rooms.

Downstairs there is a hall, equipped kitchen and sitting room which has patio doors opening to the garden.

There is a downstairs loo and use of the utility room which has 2 washing machines and 2 tumble dryers. In the garage, there is shared use of of a deep freeze.
We have a large garden and paddocks and plenty of off- road parking.

The shared rooms are cleaned weekly by my cleaner. If you require to have your room cleaned it can be arranged for a separate fee.

The house is adjoined to our own but we live separately with separate front doors - it's a large space, 4.5 acres and we are on the other side, (west) of Buckden, not actually in the village, off the A1, but quiet.

The village is well supplied for shops, has a pub and 2 hotels and you can walk into the village using the underpass. We have lived in this house since 1983 and I can honestly say it is a happy household and friendly but respectful of other people’s space.

It is important to us that we have the right sort of person to fit in.

The rent will be £500 per month, paid in advance to a dedicated bank account with a £250 returnable deposit (unless there is damage) and includes bills and wi-fi.

The room has unexpectably become available after a change of heart over a job and will be available from Saturday February 21st following a mutually satisfatory meeting.
