Are you looking for abundant space? Then look no further.
We live in a large, characterful home and are looking for a like-minded housemate to share it with us. This is not your standard house-share; it’s a home with plenty of room to work, relax, and chill.
The Room:
A beautifully bright, east-facing double room with countryside views. Spacious and well-furnished, it comes with:
✔ A large four-door wardrobe
✔ A king sized bed, plus four drawers beneath
✔ Chest of drawers
✔ Plenty of room to add a desk if you would like a workspace in your room.
(Bedroom could also be unfurnished if you’d prefer to bring your own)
You’ll be sharing a well-maintained bathroom with just one other housemate. The bathroom gets a weekly clean courtesy of Kasia, our excellent cleaner, who keeps communal spaces shipshape every Wednesday.
The House & Living Spaces:
There’s a wealth of communal space, meaning you can socialise when you want—or retreat to your own quiet corner when you don’t.
✔ Dedicated Study – workspace with desks, ideal for working from home
✔ Library – a quiet retreat or a hidden cocktail bar
✔ Lounge – three full-sized sofas, a log burner for cosy winter evenings, and plenty of space to unwind
✔ Extra-large Multi-Purpose Room – think cinema, dinner party, ping-pong tournaments, or even an occasional dance floor!
✔ Kitchen – sociable space with all the essentials and a six-seater table for relaxed dining
✔ Guest-room - we keep a bedroom available for guests, invite some townies for a countryside weekend retreat!
✔ Three acres of land – severals areas for outdoor seating and BBQs are a regular feature of summer evenings. We’re surrounded by arable farm land with plenty of options for off-road (and at times v muddy) jogging routes.
The Housemates & You:
We’re a friendly, professional bunch (late 20s to late 40s) who enjoy good conversation and the opportunities to catch up over cuppas or shared meals. There’s plenty of social interaction, but this is also a home where you can enjoy your own space. We welcome housemates who are ready to pitch in to create a lovely home and living experience. As a group we take on more responsibilities than renters may usually do, and we’ll chat about what needs doing through the year and how we share and discuss tasks to share out. With 3 acres of garden that’s a lot of mowing! We’re planning to outsource more gardening in 2025 but will still need all-hands-on-deck at times of peak growing season to keep on top of things!

✔ Parking: Ample off-road parking.
✔ Location: A short drive to Cambourne for essentials, you do need a car to live here.
