We are a friendly family looking for someone to share our home near Ely. The room is exceptionally spacious and well furnished with: a new double bed and mattress; a sofa; some chairs; wardrobe and chest as well as a TV. There is plenty of room to add your own personal touches too!
The house is fairly large and you will have use of the upstairs bathroom, kitchen and the utility room. WiFi and all bills are included. There is parking outside the house which is on a quiet lane with open fields at the bottom of the road. There is a small, private courtyard garden for drying washing, relaxing and so forth.
The house is situated in Little Downham, three miles from Ely and about 20 miles north of Cambridge so a car is essential. The village has a well-stocked shop, garage, a fish and chip shop and two nice pubs/restaurants just a few minutes walk from the house.
We are a friendly family, husband, wife, unmarried son and a small tabby cat, and we will do our best to make you welcome. We want a single occupant, so couples should not apply. Privacy is important to us and we will respect that of any lodger and expect the same in return.
References and proof of ID will be required before the tenancy can start.
For short term lettings of less than three months there would be a surcharge of £25 per week - calculated from the date of arrival to departure - this would be deducted from the deposit.
