Furnished room, Littleport – reduced rent for help

Spare room available in a friendly, easy-going house in Littleport, close to the train station and just a few minutes from Ely. Looking for a lodger who's happy to help out with some house and pet care in exchange for a reduced rent — this isn't a formal job, just a fair trade between housemates.

The room: Furnished single room with a single bed and storage.

Rent: £325 per month, bills included, in exchange for help with:
- Washing-up
- Washing clothes
- Hoovering
- Changing beds
- Feeding the cat
- Feeding the dog
- Letting the dog out
- Walking the dog
- Light gardening

(Note: I'm planning to get a dog soon, so dog-related duties will start once he/she arrives — happy to discuss timing.)

What I'm looking for:
- Non-smoker and non-vaper — essential
- Reliable, comfortable around a family home, good with animals
- Happy to agree a set weekly routine in advance rather than ad hoc asks
- Proof of ID and right to live in the UK required
- A credit check will be carried out

The setup: A proper written lodger agreement will cover rent, notice period, and exactly what the help involves, so everything's clear for both sides from day one. Available from September 1st.
