I am seeking a FEMALE lodger to take up a single room in my contemporary two-bedroom flat.
All utilities will be covered by the rent. There's also a clothing air-drying area outside, as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer inside the flat. There is entry-code-accessible secure bike storage. There are some visitor parking spots available on a first come, first serve basis but there is also on-road parking that is okay as it's a quiet, safe area.
The property is situated in a peaceful, lovely part of Milton and offers plenty of natural light. For individuals who work at Cambridge Science Park/Business Park or the surrounding area, it is conveniently located near the Cambridge North train station, the A14, and the A10.
North Lodge Park has a sizeable park at the end of the street, and a common garden surrounds the back of the property. There is a nearby nature walk area called Milton Country Park which has a cafe and plenty of outdoor seating, which is great during the Summer months.
Milton has easy access to the city centre via the bus and cycle bridge, as well as a large Tesco. The Citi 2 and Park & Ride also offer a regular bus service into the city centre.
Flatmate preferences:
I have no problem if someone consumes alcohol or eats pork outside the flat, but I would prefer if they avoided bringing it indoors.
This room would best suit a busy individual, ideally someone who does hybrid working. However, I'm open to students who meet the above requirements and believe my place would be a good fit.
Happy to be sociable and do chats/coffee/dinner but equally happy if someone wants to do their own thing.
I have a cat so if you dislike pets or prefer not to be around them, this isn't for you.
