Furnished King Room /w ensuite - Hampton Vale

We have a large double bedroom with ensuite with a king-sized bed available in Hampton Vale, close to the A15 (London Road). Great bus routes and transport links, about 1.5 mile walk to Serpentine Green Shopping Centre, gym and food outlets and a 10 minute drive into central Peterborough. Closer to home are some convenience stores, a chippy, Dominos, Subway, pub and Indian restaurant.

Rent amount: £500 pcm
Deposit amount: £500 (will be placed in a tenancy deposit scheme)

Rent will be month in advance. We are happy to consider rental periods anywhere from 6 months plus. Can negotiate a shorter term stay but this will increase the rent amount slightly to account for the time the room will be empty as a result.

Whilst references are not required, any that can be provided would be appreciated.

This is a family home rather than a regular house share, so furnishings are high quality and all bills are included in the rent amount. This includes free WiFi (overall speed ~65mb).

We are happy for a longer-term tenant to decorate room/put up photos etc. to their preference subject to discussion.

We would prefer a young professional/full time employed person for this room but are willing to consider a mature and sensible local university student.
We can't house a couple unfortunately as this would mean too many people living in the house.

The room has a king size bed, large built in walk-in wardrobe (with a large chest of drawers inside), and two large bedside tables. The ensuite has an electric shower (good water pressure), heated towel rail, sink and toilet. We have a reasonable amount of loft storage space should this be required.

We retain a guest double bedroom which we are happy to share for any of the renter's guests within reason, though this is currently being renovated.

Street parking is available although not immediately outside the front door.

We sometimes have partners/friends/family for dinner or to stay with us so whilst we are generally busy and quiet in the house you should expect some level of sharing space watching TV and when eating etc. downstairs.

The house has a large cinema room, separate living room and kitchen-diner downstairs which we all share. We share a large range cooker (eight gas rings, two ovens and a grill), American style fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, and you’ll have your own cupboard space.
