Bright and sunny double room (SW-facing) available in a pretty and elegant terraced cottage-style home with a front and back garden.

The recently decorated double room is available furnished (or unfurnished if you prefer) with a private off-road parking space. Furniture includes: Chaise longue armchair, double cast iron bed, large plant, mirror, work desk (optional), bedside tables and lamps.

You’ll share a kitchen, sitting room, bathroom and cloakroom/WC with me (the landlord — a friendly female journalist, and postgraduate in the science of happiness).

I’d like a kind and considerate lodger who likes a clean and tidy home.

There are dedicated cycle routes into Cambridge and two buses (every hour) into the city centre (journey time: 11-15mins). The neighbourhood is warm and community-based and boasts three local pubs including a 17th Century inn, a spa/restaurant and a local shop/Post Office. There are beautiful riverside countryside walks two minutes away from the house. It’s a peaceful location and perfect for someone who likes tranquility and nature with easy access to the city.
