It is an available for varied renting options Monday-Friday , short term and long term rent.
My name is Sarah. I am a work-from-home part-time charity worker.
Matthew, my husband, is a Nurse working 10 hour daytime shifts, rising early and returning late in the evening 3 to 4 times a week.
We have been married for 32 years, and we have five children and three large dogs.
Our eldest child lives in Chatteris with their partner and visits here twice a month. Izi, our middle child, works from home part-time in Marketing. We have triplets that are 21yrs old who are at university. Louie and Milo have long term student homes, only returning home occasionally, and either stay in the house or in our Motorhome.
Gregory is coming to the end of his third year, so will be at home with greater frequency and has his own room.
You must be comfortable with dogs living in the home (although we make some use of stair gates). The dogs sleep upstairs at night in our master bedroom.
The large rental room (4m X 3.34m) is upstairs, south-facing and well-heated, right next to the toilet and a separate shared family main bathroom. The main bathroom has a bath with a shower.
The room has a king size bed with mattress, with bed linen under bed in a storage drawer. It has a large wardrobe and a six-drawer chest. For further work and storage needs, there is a Large L-shaped desk and extensive shelving.
The Bedside has a small table and a light, the desk has a light as well, with plug extensions.
We make shared use of a large well-equipped kitchen, and we have the space to provide you with your own cupboard, drawer, fridge, and freezer space.
There is Access to a washing machine and a drying rack, although occasional use of the tumble drier is okay as well.
We have a leave-as-found policy for all shared areas, which all family members uphold.
There is a large garden, with a patio, garden table, fire pit, and bbq which we use regularly in the summer.
Some further notices:
We sometimes socialise at home and have guests for dinner.
We are generally morning people due to
Matthew’s working hours and the dogs.
We tend to have quieter evenings after dinner. Reading, playing vinyl, board games or sometimes the TV. We ask that you join us in keeping the house quiet from 10:30pm
There is roadside parking along the high street. For more secure parking,
there is a car park by the school on Bellairs road, which is not restricted.
The village is well-served with a One-stop and Co-op in walking distance.
For any prescriptions there is a GP practice and pharmacy.
Food establishments:
A local Cafe with licence open Tuesday - Sunday 8am -10pm
Sunrise Chinese takeaway and fish and chips open Tuesday -Sunday
Curry house restaurant and take away
Rumbles Fishbar next to Coop.
Their is a quintessentially English pub very close by and also The Royal British Legion club offering venue for local bands z and music nights
The Parish halls have a good choice of exercise classes for yoga, pikates , tai chi
Aswell as sports fields for Football and a ladies cricket team!

Great Road access to Ely, which has a well-connected train station and hourly access to London Kings Cross , Liverpool St. and Stanstead. There is an airport in Peterborough and onwards to Birmingham.
