Bright Double Room in Modern House

Hello!

I’m looking for a new lodger to join me in my modern, newly-built house in Trumpington. My current lodger has lived here for the past three years and is now moving out to buy his own place, so the room will likely be available from May, with some flexibility around the exact move-in date.

The house has two bedrooms plus a separate office room, a comfortable living room, and a large kitchen/dining space with doors opening onto the outdoor area. There’s also a locked shed for bike storage and free parking.

The location is very convenient: Waitrose is about a 10-minute walk away, and the Busway provides quick access by bike to the city centre (15 minutes), the station (10 minutes) and Addenbrooke’s (10 minutes). Trumpington Park & Ride is just a 3-minute walk away with local bus connections and a FlixBus to London.

The room comes furnished with a double bed, large wardrobe and desk. Rent includes all bills: gas, electricity, water, council tax, broadband and TV licence.

A little about me: I’m sociable and active, and generally out during the day working from the office. I also row for a local club and often spend mornings or evenings training or seeing friends.

I’m looking for a friendly, clean and considerate person to share the house with. Ideally you’d be someone who works mainly outside the home and has your own social life and activities.

The room is available for single occupancy only. I’m happy to consider stays of 6 months or longer (longer preferred), and Monday–Friday lodgers may also be considered at a reduced rent.
