House share offered - Genuine animal lovers only,

Looking for a male/female to house-share (preferably semi-retired/retired, but will definitely consider someone who works from home, or different shifts to me, as I'm looking for someone who will be at home sometimes when I'm not), sociable, respectful of personal boundaries and able to provide references if necessary (one of which must be from your employer). The spare room contract would need to be signed.

It's a double bedroom , which can be offered furnished/unfurnished. Room is currently occupied, so am unable to provide a photograph, but I'm sure my lodger would be happy for you to see the room!

For me it all hinges on integrity, honesty and trust.....the deal breaker would be if you are not a genuine animal lover, as I have dogs. They are a huge part of my life and have "access all areas" passes (other than your room of course, unless you'd welcome them in). They are rescues and their safety and wellbeing is of paramount importance to me.
This is definitely not for someone who knows that they would not be able to embrace them for the wonderful souls they are and who thrive on human company, despite everything they have been through!

You would need to be a driver as I live rurally, although all usual amenities are within a 10 minute drive.

There's a large garden, lots of off road parking, plus a double detached garage and an outbuilding that has room for lots of storage......
