Description
Hi! I have a double room to let in a lovely quiet house in Waterbeach, looking for someone with similar interests who I feel I can get on well with.
The room is south-facing so warm and bright, and there’s a built-in wardrobe, bed, bedside table, desk, and small bookcase. The house has a spacious kitchen, a sunny living room-diner, bathroom & downstairs toilet, and a beautiful garden with a shed for bikes. I only have 1 allocated parking space but there is usually no shortage of parking in the area.
The current occupants are me and my cat, Phoebe. I’m fairly quiet but friendly, and mildly obsessed by folk music, dancing, & medieval history. I also do a lot of crafts and enjoy gardening and walking in nature. I’m usually working from home at the moment, but often go out in evenings for one of my numerous hobbies. I’m hoping to find a lodger who shares some of my interests and is keen to maybe sometimes share meals, play boardgames etc.
Waterbeach is a peaceful but friendly village with pubs and shops (there’s a small Co-op just round the corner), and regular trains into Cambridge & London.
Bills and council tax will likely be around £120 (the council tax band is B). Small pets are ok but my cat would not be keen to share with another cat or a dog, sorry! I’ll consider couples (as long as you don’t make me feel like a 3rd wheel in my own home!) but the rent would be £800.
If this sounds like the place for you, get in touch and tell me a bit about yourself and especially what interests we share!
