Description

Hi there! I’m Anna :) She/her, 33, MSc student/ vets assistant

My friend Dave (he/him) and I are looking for a third person to join our little home. Dave and I have lived together since September and get on like a house on fire so we’re looking for a third person to fit in with our vibe.

We are open to anyone sociable, friendly and clean. Open to living with anyone from any race, any gender, any religion , LGBTQIA etc :) 🏳️‍🌈

We work 9-5 plus the odd weekend so looking for someone to share the same working hours as us. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t be able to live with anyone who works nights as this would not fit the dynamic of the house, sorry!

We normally up at 6am, bed by 9/10pm during the week and then super sociable on the weekends. BBQ, dog walks, pub nights etc. We work hard and like to let our hair down also so someone who doesn’t like to socialise also wouldn’t fit in the dynamic of the house.

We’re looking for someone who wants to be a friend, not just a lodger and make my house their home. Friends and partners welcome ( MAX 2-3 nights a week or it gets too busy in the house!) and you are encouraged to make the room your own, as long as you leave it how you found it.

The rent includes council tax, internet, water but does not include gas and electric. I used to be able to offer the rent all inclusive but my gas and electric has tripled so a contribution to that will be needed monthly. Just about to have a smart meter installed so hopefully this will make the bills easier to divvy up. I get a toilet roll “Who Gives a Crap” subscription every 3-4 months which is £50 split three ways. If the cleaning ever gets too much to manage, we will also split the cost of a cleaner.

Kitchen, bathroom, garden and living room are all shared areas. I never go in my lodgers rooms unless maintenance etc is needed.

Dave and I currently get a veg box weekly/ biweekly so you would be welcome to get in on that, too!

What we are looking for in a housemate:

Someone who is approachable, clean, considerate, sociable, has hobbies, preferably would like to make the odd shared meal and hang out or go for a dog walk/pub session / put the world to rights over a cup of tea or glass of wine.

Our house has lots of animals in so it’s important you are an animal lover and not just someone who tolerates animals.
You must be environmentally conscious and recycle and just generally be aware when it’s time to pick up the hoover and tidy up a bit. Not up for living with a full time smoker as it stinks 😷 don’t mind someone who smokes VERY occasionally on a night out or something like that but outside only please :)
Dave and I get on really well and so we want to make sure whoever moves in is going to want to get involved in the house. It’s my financial responsibility but it’s everyone’s job to keep the house and garden nice.

Any questions, get in touch!
