I am looking for a professional to share my lovely home. It’s a dairy barn that has been converted into 4 properties. Mine is a spacious 2 bedroom with a lovely garden and great views from your room.
Location: I am in Little Barrow around 15 minutes from central Chester and within easy access of the railway station and M56. It’s also around 10 minutes drive to Cheshire Oaks / Ellesmere Port. There is a lovely pub within walking distance and countryside walks from the doorstep.
Your home: Downstairs there is a fitted kitchen with a Rangemaster cooker, integrated dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/ freezer. This room opens into the spacious dining room with comfy seating.
The light and bright dining room has French doors opening onto the garden. There is a large patio with dining area and BBQ as well as a picnic bench and more comfy seating.
The lounge is spacious with squishy sofas and a beautiful open fire for cosy winter nights.
Your bedroom: Faces the garden with views of the fields beyond, has a king size bed and an adjoining dressing area.
The upstairs shared bathroom has a shower and separate free standing bath. There is also a downstairs toilet.
Bills included: electricity, high speed internet, council tax, water rates, TV licence and lawn mowing in summer. I have a renewable energy air source heating system.
There is off road parking and your own transport is required due to the semi-rural location.
I am looking for a lodger initially to March 2025. I would consider short term and Mon to Fri too.
I occasionally work from home so would prefer someone who works away from the house during week days. I travel for work and pleasure so will frequently be away and sometimes for extended periods of time.
