A spacious, fully furnished double bedroom is available in a lovely part of Handforth. The room includes a comfortable double divan bed with four built-in storage drawers, a wardrobe, and an optional desk if needed.

The home is ideally located within walking distance of local shops and Handforth train station, with excellent transport links to the A34, A555, and M60. Manchester City Centre is easy to reach, and Manchester Airport is just a 5–10 minute drive away. I commute to Manchester Royal Infirmary 2–4 times a week, which takes around 25 minutes. Handforth station is about a 15-minute walk, and Handforth Dean retail park is just 10 minutes on foot.

The house is an end-of-terrace with a beautifully maintained, recently renovated garden and patio area—complete with outdoor seating and a BBQ for the warmer months. Inside, you’ll find a communal kitchen with plenty of appliances, a shared living/dining space, and a modernised bathroom. Parking is on-street only, but with no restrictions, I’ve never had any issues finding a spot.

All bills are included, along with broadband, plus Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video available in the living area. The kitchen also has both a washer and a separate dryer for your use.

A bit about me: I’m a 36-year-old Radiographer who really values my home as a calm, comfortable space. I’m easy-going and enjoy socialising, but I’m equally happy having quiet time to myself—an ideal evening for me is a good takeaway and a couple of drinks after a busy week. I grew up locally, so I have friends and family close by.

I’m not overly strict about tidiness, but I do appreciate someone who keeps their room and the shared areas reasonably clean and tidy. My neighbours are lovely and friendly; while they don’t mind a bit of noise, I’d prefer someone who is considerate and avoids loud music so that everyone can enjoy a peaceful environment.
