Double room in my house

Double room with lovely decor, and a very comfy mattress, in an imperfect but well loved & homely house.


WiFi (50Mb) is everywhere in the house, and there's an ethernet socket in the bedroom. I can provide a desk & chair or small couch for the room if that's needed, otherwise in the office/dining/junk room downstairs you can use my desk whenever I'm not home & using it.

Most of the house has been refurbished (lots of it by me!)
The bathroom is old (1920s) and I'm saving for it to be replaced eventually, but for now, it's doing fine, it all works!

Although I do live in the house, I'm only here maybe 2-3 days a week. So you'll have the place to yourself most of the time.

There's some basic gym equipment and a TV mounted on the wall in the back bedroom, but otherwise you'll need to bring your own screen(s) as I don't watch TV. It's a pretty handy space for yoga/exercise videos.

Household bills are included, but we would need to discuss arrangements for Council Tax, as I currently qualify for a single person discount. Band B, so would be roughly £50/mo extra if you're not exempt.

Preferences:

I'm "flexitarian", mainly plant based in the house, but usually some eggs in the fridge. I'd prefer if you were vegetarian/vegan, but the fridge/freezer is big enough for that not to matter.

I'm LGBTQ friendly... I'm very straight but most of the people I know aren't!

I recycle (or compost) virtually everything nowadays, I'm not a fan of creating waste.
