Spacious double room in quaint Nantwich cottage

I'm looking for a lodger for my spare room in a quaint little cottage in Nantwich. The cottage has plenty of nice features such as original beams and a working log burner. There is the option of the larger room at £625pcm or the smaller room at £500pcm. Available from the beginning of July but there may be some flexibility on that if you need somewhere sooner.

LARGER ROOM: The bedroom is a double, is very spacious, and has the original Victorian fireplace. I have also recently restored the wooden floor. It comes fully furnished (fitted cupboards, clothes rails, and shelving, double bed with mattress, two side tables). There's also plenty of space for a chest of drawers or desk if you wanted. This is the room in the photos.

SMALLER ROOM: The bedroom is a small double. It comes fully furnished (fitted wardrobe and shelving unit, 4ft double bed with mattress, side table, wall display unit, wall mirror). I need to take some photos of this room to upload so if you're interested in this one let me know and I can get that sorted.

The rest of the house is kitted out to a high standard and you would have full use of everything. The kitchen has pretty much everything you could need, but I can make space if you have any of your own bits you would want to bring.

I do use the office space pictured, but you would be free to use it anytime I am not. I am away a lot with work so it would be fine if you work from home.

There is off-street parking at the back of the property which you would be able to use.

The price includes most bills: water, internet, council tax (band B). We then split the gas and electric bill every month. I also come with Netflix and Disney+.

I am a lecturer/researcher and am often away on research. So for a lot of the time you would have the house to yourself, sometimes including extended periods (2+ months). If you wanted friends to stay you would be free to use my room if I am away for a while.

When I am around I like the house to be relatively peaceful and clean. I like to cook, relax with a film, and/or play board games in the evening. I would ideally like someone who is up for hanging out together in the evenings sometimes rather than someone who will just stay in their room all the time. I'm also a fan of a good pub quiz, weekend walks with a pub involved, and going to the theatre - feel free to join for any and all.

Looking for someone who is relaxed and easy to get on with, and who keeps things tidy. Sorry, but no smoking or pets.
