Large double room to let, in a lovely cottage, in a rural location on the edge of the village. Dollar has two pubs, shops, chemist, off licence, butcher and post office and all are just 10 minutes walk from the cottage.

All the living accommodation is shared, but with 2 x living areas (both with TV and wood burners) and 2 x dining areas it is possible to be as independent as you like. The bathroom and kitchen are shared, but both are a good size. The kitchen has dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and a range cooker. The cottage has a large garden and sheds for secure bike storage. There is also off road parking available.

I have two young dogs and a cat. The dogs live outside during the day, but are an integral part of the household. I would consider a lodger with a pet, but it would need to fit in with / get on with the existing animals.

I am a 43 year old woman who spends a lot of my spare time cycling or hillwalking. My partner lives in Edinburgh so I also tend to split my weekends between the two places.

The room would suit someone active, I understand the need to dry wet and muddy walking / cycling kit. The cottage is old and has the usual quirks of such a property, but it is very comfortable and relaxed.

The rent £350 pcm includes council tax, gas and electric. I would consider a couple sharing the room, as there is plenty of space at £450pcm.
