I’m looking to open my home to a single person or a couple, if you are a couple, it will be £700 PCM. I know rental prices are extreme, and I’m often asked if I know of any houses in my area available for rent, and I feel as I’m not often here, I may as well have someone help with my bills.
I have a spare double room available in my well presented 2 bedroom semi detached house, the house is in the area known as ‘Colwyn Heights’, you will have all the mods cons you’d expect from a normal house.
Bills are included, as long as you are respectful of the price of utilities. The house is equipped with mains gas central heating. There is space for 2/3 cars, but I’ll need space for my car too.
The property has a porch, a living room with a TV, surround sound and sofa’s. I have 100MB fibre broadband, and has laminated flooring throughout, with carpets on the stairs and in the bedrooms.
The kitchen is a good size, plenty of storage, a gas cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave, air fryer and dishwasher. It has been opened up into the conservatory, which hosts a dining table which seats up to six people.
There are two bedrooms upstairs, you can see the sea, and the great orme from the double room (this would be yours).
The bathroom has a bath, over-bath shower, heated towel rail, mirror, shelving and a cupboard.
There is a garage, which is quite full, but can be used for bikes or similar, and hosts a tumble dryer which you can use.
Outside at the back is a well presented/maintained garden, with decking, furniture and a patio, with a hosepipe. The front is block paved, and well lit at night.
There is a bus that runs from here to Colwyn bay, hourly I believe, but I do recommend having your own car if you live up this way.
I’m looking for a clean/tidy and respectable person that can appreciate my home and keep my house and garden the way it is. I’ll accept pets, as long as they are discussed first, and agreement made on what you will have here, and any special terms. 2 dogs wouldn’t work for example, and barking is a big no!
