Chill Out in a Beautiful Country Cottage.

I have a large double room available to let in my lovely old cottage in the countryside.
Will consider Monday-Friday let’s.

This would suit someone who wants to chill out and enjoy some peace, loves the outdoors and getting close to nature amid a stunning landscape.

The cottage dates from 1650, it is not overly modernised but it is clean and tidy and full of character - wonky walls and plaster and beamed ceilings!

There are two shared bathrooms, and a shared kitchen. The double bedroom is larger than average and can accommodate two easy chairs, a coffee table, a desk and TV.

There is parking on site and I have a large garden. The fields surrounding the house have sheep and sometimes cattle. .

Glyn Ceiriog is an active and welcoming community set in an incredibly beautiful valley. There are three pubs, two hotels, a Post Office/SPAR shop, modern community centre and infant/junior school.

Chirk is 10 minutes away and Llangollen, Wrexham and Oswestry are 20-30 minutes away by car via the A483. There is a bus service in the valley and there is a main line train station at Chirk.

I am retired, have travelled far and wide as an independent traveller, I am pretty easy going and open-minded.......but I would say that I enjoy a quiet life, so if you're into loud tv/music......we wont make good housemates......unless you wear earphones!!.
I love learning stuff and am into books/organic food production/ethical farming/global issues/the natural world etc etc.
