A Lovely Room with Lots of Extras

‘Laurel’ is a generous size room with double bed for single occupancy. It has its own en-suite bathroom with bath and power shower, thoughtfully designed and ideal for relaxing at the end of a long and busy day. We are just an 8-minute walk from Bodmin Town centre.

Laurel comes fully furnished and includes:
• 32” flat screen TV and DVD player
• Plenty of sockets and extra USB points
• Superfast broadband
• Compact and silent room fridge
• Kettle and other useful bits including mug and glass
• Bedding and towels provided and changed weekly when room/bathroom are cleaned, all at no extra cost
• Loo rolls and liquid hand soap
• cupboard space in kitchen plus fridge/freezer space

This lovely room would be suitable for a non-smoking fully employed person working daytime or shifts but not working full-time from home. It’s available for single occupancy as from 1st August (or perhaps a little sooner) and is subject to satisfactory references and payment of deposit plus a month's rent in advance. All bills are included.

There's a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer for personal washing and we can offer ironing as an optional/paid for extra should you need. There’s off-street parking for 1 car per Lodger as well as shared use of lounge, kitchen and garden. We currently have 2 friendly Lodgers and live in the house ourselves and there’s a good “community feel” albeit with plenty of room, quiet and privacy for all.

Our rambling woodland garden is an on-going and sustainable restoration project. We re-use, recycle, compost and try to avoid the use of synthetic chemicals. Virtually all of our cleaning products and toiletries are plant-based and chemical-free and our furniture and furnishings are made from natural materials.
