Light spacious maisonette with large windows and high ceilings with a lovely newly decorated large double room, In a large renovated Victorian maisonett, some renovations still in progress in the stairwell. Its a fairly quiet house, relaxed vibe and friendly. Has a shared bathroom/shower room and an extra cloakroom toilet. Shared large roof terrace with seating for the summer.. a real sun trap. A shared kitchen/diner.
My son and I live upstairs in the property, my son is 7 and we have 2 friendly cats. The bottom floor has 2 bedrooms for lodgers and is alongside the kitchen and back door. This is a family home and not one for you if you want to be drinking and partying with your friends around every night. Absolutely no drugs or smoking inside the house. Any new lodger must respect I have a child asleep at night although he's a deep sleeper.
Looking for a clean, tidy, easy going person to rent a room, must be prepared to chip in with an odd hoover around and bins on bin day to share house jobs.
Must work full time, preferably not at home and be reliable with rent.
On street parking nearby, 2 mins away on Rectory Road.
5 min walk to train station and bus station. All shops, cafes and takeaways are right on the doorstep as its on the main street, no need to drive.
Rent to be paid a week in advance and preferably weekly, all bills and good WiFi Inc.
