Large Double Room in Family Home (4m x 4m +alcove)

Available from mid-late September (negotiable if needed sooner and happy if later).

Short and longer term let available - no preference. £700 a month plus council tax if you are subject to paying it (around £60). All other bills and broadband included subject to fair usage (reviewed every 3 months).

Will also accept couples for an extra £150 per month.

Would prefer a student for up to a year, but my previous lodger stayed 2.5yrs due to saving for a house so totally flexible.

Large double room to let in a family home. The room is furnished with a large double bed, large triple wardrobe, 2 bedside cabinets, 2 chests of drawers, a large desk and chair and a floor to ceiling built in cupboard with 5 large shelves, so there’s lots of storage! There is small dvd tv in the room but can be taken out if required.

The rental includes the bedroom, use of a shared bathroom, additional shared toilet, kitchen diner (with dining table and sofa) and a utility room and garden. My son uses the front room as his bedroom is tiny but when we are away you are welcome to use it.

There’s lots of on street parking in the quiet side street one door down and we are close to the 24hr garage in Falmouth which is about 6 houses away on the opposite side of the road.

The town centre is a 8-10min walk away, beaches are 20mins, Penmere train station is a 12min walk and there is a bus stop just across the road (next to the garage) that goes to the Uni andTruro and a bus stop a few doors down that takes you through town and to the main bus station in Falmouth.

I live in the house with my busy 14yr old son.. My son goes to bed around 10pm but I tend to be up and about until 11pm ish.

The room is pretty big (a large rather than a small double) with high ceilings, the house is 1930’s and still needs work in places (it’s ongoing!) but we love it!

You would have your own 2 cupboard spaces in the kitchen and a fridge freezer (in the utility room next to the kitchen) and can share our cooking items, pots, pans, plates etc.

Theres a big back garden which is nice to hang out in during summer and a patio with outdoor table and chairs that’s nice for chilling out.

We have a garage which is pretty full but do have space for bicycle etc and there’s lots of space in the garden for a kayak/paddle board etc..

Im happy for short or long term let, I just need a months notice. I prefer students as it means I get the house back for the summer and family can come and stay but the last lodger who moved out in June was here for 2.5yrs whilst he saved to buy his own place.
