Our home is a large, beautiful, historic house in Falmouth dating back to 1605. We are on Melvill Road - 2 min walk to Gylly beach and 5 min walk into town, close to train station and bus stops. The location is really amazing!! Myself and my family live in the back part of the property, the rooms in the front part of the property are rented to a mixture of long/short term stays.
The room is a fully furnished, double en-suite with a shower. You will have use of a kitchen which is sometimes used by air bnb guests but mostly you will probably have it to yourself. There is a guest lounge/dining room and a front garden with picnic tables which you could use if you wanted to. There is a car park on site which you are welcome to use and there is also plenty of free on-street parking in the area. All bills included.
We are very friendly and helpful and approachable people who enjoy living with others. This would be ideal for someone who is working in the area. We are looking for someone who is polite, approachable and friendly, someone who is happy to chat to people but also is looking for a nice quiet, peaceful house. This is not a party house and you would need to be respectful of the fact that it is run as a business/family home. Initially we are looking for someone for 1-3 months, but this can be extended if it is working well. Mon-Fri lets considered and price can be negotiated for this.
