Sunny Double Room Available To Sublet In Flushing

This is a sublet opportunity in a peaceful part of Cornwall from January 2025 whilst I'm away for work.

Looking for someone to sublet my room whilst I'm away working + visiting family, possibly for as long as 6 months, but definitely for the first 2 months, from January 3rd. Looking for a tidy and organised professional or mature student who is mindful of shared living.

£500pcm (bills incl. apart from the occasional firewood*)
*as and when needed (split cost with the other tenants/homeowner, usually only in winter).

It is a private room in a shared house (only other person currently there is the homeowner) in the quaint village of Flushing (opposite Falmouth), with easy access to both Penryn and Falmouth, via car, bus, ferry, or bike (also a nice walk along the footpath from Flushing to Penryn). I cycle into Penryn (takes 20mins) or take the bus (15mins) or hitchhike, as I don’t own a car. However, a car would be most ideal, especially for a daily commute.

There’s a shared kitchen (with Rayburn that heats the house + water), adjacent washroom with washing machine and sink, living room (with log burner), and a bathroom w/ shower.

Local amenities: well-stocked village shop, pub, and two restaurants, as well as a weekly Saturday market (The FoodBarn at Tregew), and is in walking distance from Flushing sailing club, the local beach, and Mylor (a beautiful walk around the headland).

Would suit someone looking for a short-term let, or someone in between places searching for a more permanent option.

Room available for a definite 2 months, up to as long as 6 months (and potentially longer), January-June 2025.
