Liskeard is an ancient market town which lies in the heart of South East Cornwall. The pretty town is very popular and has long been a haven for tourists. There is also the popular local market held every Thursday. Those that still want access to the best of the high street need not worry; Liskeard is just 20 miles from Plymouth, which is one of the biggest shopping centres in the South West.
