Double room in cosy cottage

Do you want a cosy place near the Helford to call home?

I am looking for a laid back friendly person to share my cottage with me.

I have quite a busy life, but there is something lovely about living with someone you can share a meal with on occasion and form a friendship rather than just being a lodger!

The room is furnished and has a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a small double bed.

There is plenty of room in the garden for bikes/kayaks/surfboards etc. The garden is quite big for a two bed cottage, with a shed should you want to store a couple of boxes.


There’s a sofa bed in the living room which I use when friends and family stay over, which you'd be welcome to do too.

The living room is beautifully cosy, with a woodburner. The kitchen is fully equipped, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fibre broad band etc.

All bills are included.


The room is available from 8th June till mid July.
There is no specific parking, but parking is available right outside the house. There is also an hourly bus that runs from Mawnan to Falmouth and to Penryn.

Mawnan Smith is a beautiful village about halfa mile from the Helford river, we have a village shop, a café, a deli and a friendly pub. There are any number of coastal and woodland walks to be started from here too.

A bit about me, I work in environmental research at the uni in Penryn.
I'm active, sociable and often have friends around for food and sometimes wine too. I’m a keen sailor, scrabble player and recently climbing too. I’m usually away for a 3-4 nights most weeks.
